Modjaw is our new diagnostic tool

Yes another new piece of technology! The first dental clinic to use this on live patients in the UK, may I add! This apparatus works by recording the kinematics of your jaw as a treatment planning aid. Our TMD Specialist will attach a sensor on a headband for you to wear then connect reference points from your teeth to synchronise to the software and displayed on monitor before your eyes. You can watch as you see how your jaw moves whilst chewing, biting and grinding amongst other directional planes. It could mean less adjustments are needed after final restorations are placed.
